Bhubaneswar: Following a terrorist attack on an Indian Air Force (IAF) base at Pathankot in Punjab in the wee hours on Saturday, powers of the Biju Patnaik International Airport here have ventured up efforts to establish safety in and around the air terminal.
Advising the media about this on Saturday, executive of Biju Patnaik International Airport Sharad Kumar said; “Bhubaneswar air terminal is one of the delicate air terminals in the eastern district. Considering the late capture of an Al Qaeda agent in Cuttack and a terrorist assault on Pathankot air base today, we are on high alarm.”
“The CISF work force, in a matter of seconds responsible for general security of the airplane terminal, are investigating every possibility with tight watching and strict vigil. They have raised their ready level. We have redesigned our security address framework and reached the State Police and asked for them to put set up sufficient measures to guarantee no such occurrence happens in and around the airplane terminal range,” Kumar included.
