When Rajinikanth got stuck at Chennai airport without his passport

Superstar Rajinikanth, who was to fly to Malaysia for his upcoming film Kabali's shoot, apparently reached at the Chennai international airport without his passport on Monday (Feburary 1) morning.
Chennai airport witnessed a huge crowd as the superstar had an unexpected glitch. One of the fans of Rajini took to Twitter to share the picture of the superstar at the Chennai airport.
According to a report in The Quint, "The whole incident was like a nail biting climax of a Rajinikanth movie as the actor realized that he had forgotten his passport and requested help from his assistant, who fetched it for him in the nick of time", said a source close to the actor.
In the meantime, the Kabali actor interacted with the media and thanked the Indian government for honouring him with Padma Vibhushan. "I thank PM Narendra Modi and the government for the Padma Vibhushan", said the 65-year old. He also revealed that Kabali's shoot is almost in its completion phase.
After the passport was delivered to him, the actor boarded the flight for Malaysia at 11.47 am. The fan also shared Rajini's picture at Malaysian airport.
