To ensure foolproof security for India Aviation-2016, the fifth edition of international exhibition and conference on civil aviation scheduled to be held at the Begumpet airport from March 16 to 20, as many as 632 cops will be deployed for bandobast.
President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the event on March 16 on the theme: “India’s Civil Aviation Sector: A Potential Global Manufacturing and MRO Hub”.
“It is expected to be a mega event and will have high-profile participation, both domestic and international. For this event, HMR and GHMC have reduced their workspace between Patny Centre and Hyderabad Public School, and increased the road carriageway for smoother traffic flow. Only invitees will be allowed,” said N Prakash Reddy, DCP (north zone).
Apart from deployment of 632 police personnel in view of the President’s visit, CCTV cameras will be installed at important points.
The DCP said on March 17, 18 VIPs and business invitees would be allowed. On March 19 and 20 public will be allowed at the event.
