'Bomb' Threat: Vigil Upped at Thiruvananthapuram Airport

Thiruvananthapuram: Security was tightened at the Thiruvananthapuram airport on Thursday following a hoax bomb threat call. The call was made to an Air India manager in Mumbai, saying that some of its flights to 43 destinations in the country had been placed with bombs. The CISF, which has been entrusted with airport security, has deployed more personnel for security. Local police came with sniffer dogs and combed the area. “It was a general threat.
