CIAL set to Touch New Heights

KOCHI: The Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) is fast becoming one of the leading airports in South India, giving a run for money to bigger airports in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.  Chennai airport too may come under the shadow of the CIAL soon. The move to shift the operations of wide-bodied aircraft permanently to Kochi will benefit the CIAL hugely. The CIAL is already in an expansion mode, launching the third terminal. Air India, Saudi Arabian Airlines, and Etihad Airways, have shifted the operations of their wide-bodied and mid-sized aircraft falling in the category of Boeing 777/747 to the Kochi Airport.
