Day two of ‘India Aviation 2016’ airshow at Begumpet airport here witnessed a host of collaborations, tie-ups and MoU sign ups.
Pawan Hans Ltd. and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) said they were collaborating with each other for setting up of MRO ( Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) for both defence and civil helicopters at Rohini Heliport in Delhi. The event highlighted the prospects for the Helicopter MRO market, given the number of helicopters expected to be active over the next ten years and beyond.
Meanwhile, Embraer Executive Jets today announced an order for a new entry-level business jet Phenom 100E from an undisclosed customer based in India. The aircraft will be managed by Titan Aviation Group, a global aviation specialty service provider headquartered in the United Arab Emirates.
