Mangaluru: Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) is in fifth position in overall customer satisfaction index out of 55-tier II airports. Off late, it is observed that some people are spreading wrong message with respect to functioning of customs/immigration/security/airline functioning. J T Radhakrishna, director, MIA said all the operations are running smoothly and there is no ambiguity in the scrutiny and checking of passengers.
If any passenger(s) come across any emergency situations/trouble, they may report immediately to terminal duty manager in the terminal building, who is available 24-hours at the AAI terminal counter) and or CISF duty security, (who are also available 24-hours in the terminal building) of the airport located at Kenjar. This will enable the airport authorities and or CISF teams to come and help the passenger without any delay and take up the issue with authorities concerned.
