Bhubaneswar: Sanjay Jain has taken over the charge of Regional Executive Director (Eastern Region) Airports Authority of India, Kolkata recently.
Jain, a B. E. (Elect.) with MBA degree holder, joined on January 1989, the then National Airports Authority which was later on renamed as Airports Authority of India (AAI).
Prior to holding this onerous responsibility Jain has shouldered important assignments at various levels in different Directorates of AAI. He is a person with nine years of vast and varied experience as Airport Director at various airports in different regions of the country. Gaya Airport, a Non-operational Airport, was developed and transformed into an international Airport under his stewardship besides executing many important projects including one at world’s highest Airport at Leh.
