About 2.5 kilogram of gold, valued at around Rs. 75 lakh, was seized from a passenger who arrived here from Abu Dhabhi by an early morning Etihad Airways flight on Thursday, airport officials said.
Reyeez Parambath Kandy (35), a native of Kerala, was found carrying the precious metal in the form of 25 biscuits in his hand baggage, they said.
