Air Arabia flight makes emergency landing at Dabolim

Panaji: An Air Arabia flight flying from Sharjah to Kerala had to make an emergency landing at the Dabolim airport early Sunday morning after a woman,70, complained of chest pain.
Sources said that the flight landed at 4 am and Leela Abraham from Kerala was rushed to the Cottage hospital at Chicalim. She was declared 'brought dead' in the hospital.
The sources said that Leela's husband alerted the crew members about her medical condition. As Dabolim was the nearest airport for the flight, it was decided to land at the Goa airport. By the time, the flight landed, her condition worsened. Officials suspect that she died due to cardiac arrest. Her body has been preserved at Goa Medical College Hospital for the post-mortem.
