Fake case against Air India whistle blower, AISATS official gets conditional bail

Binoy Jacob, vice president of Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS) has been granted anticipatory bail in the case registered at Valiyathura police for forging fake documents against Air India whistle blower L S Sibu.
The Thiruvananthapuram sessions judge V Shircy has granted him anticipatory bail under the condition that in the event of the arrest Binoy Jacob should be released on bail on executing a bond of Rs 2 lakh. He has also been asked to surrender his passport before the investigating officer.
He has also been asked to cooperate with the investigation and appear before the investigating officer as and when he is asked.
The crime branch had given a report in the High Court stating that Binoy Jacob had fabricated a fake sexual harassment complaint against L S Sibu who had brought out some of the illegal issues happening at the Thiruvananthapuram airport.
The Crime Branch had found that 16 signatures in a complaint filed by 17 women staff against Sibu, officer, apron, ground service department, Air India, Thiruvananthapuram international airport, were forged. It was revealed that this was to take revenge against him for filing complaints before the CBI and Central Vigilance alleging corruption in the airline company.
