Navi Mumbai: Already eight project affected persons (PAPs) of the international airport project have signed and collected the lease agreement copies of the plots allotted to them from Cidco till June 17. Others can also collect the lease agreement copies of the plots allotted to them against their surrendered land for development of airport from Cidco Bhavan.
"We urge PAPs, who have received the land allotment letter from Raigad district deputy collector and land acquisition officer at Metro Centre in Panvel, to approach Cidco office and get signed copies of lease agreement," said Mohan Ninawe, senior public relations officer, Cidco.
After procuring the lease agreement, the PAPs can sell them to the third party if they wish to but Cidco has counselled them not to dispose the land immediately. The sources added that if they wait, the land will fetch them premium amount, once the area is developed, after the construction work of airport project. "We advise the PAPs not to be in a hurry to sell their land to third parties, as it will bring them better value later," said Ninawe.
