Kochi: Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has launched a probe into an incident in which a passenger, who landed here from Dammam, was mistakenly taken to the domestic terminal instead of the international passenger terminal.
The incident took place on June 14 when the passenger, who had landed here by a Jet Airways flight from Dammam in Saudi Arabia, entered the domestic terminal by mistake. The goof-up came to light when the passenger asked about the delay in delivering his baggage.
Security officials at the airport then redirected him to the international terminal for the necessary customs and immigration clearance.
