Mumbai: The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has moved the Bombay high court against Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd to prohibit them from collecting parking charges at pick-up and drop points and entry fees at the international airport and domestic terminal in the city.
"At the international airport, all commercial vehicles are required to pay Rs 110 merely on entry while all private vehicles if they halt for more than 5 minutes are required to pay Rs 110 for 5 minutes," said the petition filed on Monday and questioned the legality of such parking charges.
MIAL spokesperson said that they were "not aware of any such petition and hence cannot comment on it". He added "when any such petition is served on them appropriate steps will be taken."
