A-I needs to connect its intl flights to Indore to facilitate passengers

Indore : Kabhi khushi kabhi gham. This is the story of Indore’s air passengers opting for Air India’s international flights to return to India.

Benefit of carrying 46 kg baggage (23 kg in two bags) allowance in AI international flights turns into a problem if they opt for a non-AI flight to Indore from Delhi or Mumbai as these flights allow only 15 kg luggage free and hence they end up paying extra for excess baggage.

If they choose to continue with AI as their connecting flight to Indore from Delhi or Mumbai then have to stay overnight thereby incurring extra expenses.

AI international flights start landing at Delhi or Mumbai airports after 2:00 pm. By then the connecting AI flights to Indore have already departed leaving passengers with the options of either taking a non-AI flight or staying overnight. According to aviation experts, in order to keep pace with returning international flights, AI should launch separate evening flights.
