An abandoned bag found between the Gate 2A and 2B of the domestic terminal created a bomb scare at the Kolkata International Airport on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the area around the bag has been cordoned off and CISF, the airport security incharge is not allowing public to go near it. Bomb Disposal Squad and Dog Squad have rushed to the spot to ascertain whether any explosive or a bomb is present inside the abandoned bag. Senior officials of the Bidhannagar City Police have also rushed to the spot.
