IndiGo, India's biggest airline, has announced a promotional offer with all-inclusive fares starting as low as Rs 1,106.
The IndiGo offer - valid for travel between July 1 and September 30 - is applicable only on domestic routes. IndiGo, however, has not disclosed the number of seats on offer under the promotional scheme.
According to IndiGo's website, the lowest fare of Rs 1,106 is for the Srinagar to Jammu route.
Among other routes, tickets on the Delhi to Lucknow route are available at an all-inclusive fare of Rs 1,500 (all-inclusive) under the promotional offer. Ticket from Ahmedabad to Mumbai costs Rs 1,200 (all-inclusive).
Typically, the monsoon season is a lean period for airlines. To beat the lean season and attract more flyers, carriers come out with discounted airfare offers for travel during the monsoon season.
GoAir has also launched a monsoon discount offer with fare starting at Rs 849 (base fare plus surcharge). GoAir's discount offer - started on June 29 and will last till July 2, 2016 - is applicable for travel between July 1 and September 30, 2016.
