Kochi: After day-long uncertainty, PDP leader Abdul Nazar Madhani arrived at the Cochin International Airport on Monday night along with his aides. Speaking to media, Madhani said he suspected a conspiracy behind the delay in his departure to Kochi from Bengaluru. Madhani also expressed his pleasure to celebrate Ramdan with his friends and family after six years.
Madhani, who landed at the CIAL by an Indigo flight around 8.15 p.m and he was accorded a rousing reception by hundreds of his supporters. Madhani, his wife Sufia, PDP state secretary Muhammad Rajeeb left for Anwarsherry with policemen Kerala and Karnataka accompanying them. Earlier, the CIAL witnessed some unruly scenes after Indigo officials prevented Madhani from boarding the flight to Kochi from Bengaluru. Irate PDP workers broke the glass panes of the Indigo office at CIAL.
