Kolkata: Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines (SIA), has decided to increase its flights frequency in Kolkata-Delhi route from two times daily to seven times daily by October end, a top official of the company said on Friday.
"We inaugurated our operation from the city in June 10 with two daily flights between Delhi and Kolkata. After staring operation from the city, within less than a month, we have decided to increase our footprint further to grow our frequency out of Kolkata from two times daily to seven times daily by end of October," said airline CEO Phee Teik Yeoh.
"Today, we have 11 aircraft and we will receive two more aircraft by October this year. We have decided that we will park these two new aircraft in Kolkata," he said.
