New Delhi: The Centre has said if Kerala doesn’t want Aranmula airport project, it should make it clear through a public statement.
“It is at Kerala’s discretion to decide on whether it should have the project or not have it,” Union Forest-Environment Minister Anil Madhav Davai told media persons.
Expert committee cannot take decision on a subject that is under the consideration of the Supreme Court. In this matter, State should make its stand clear. If they want airport, they should clearly communicate that to the Centre. Out of the blue, neither Centre nor I can interfere in a case that is under court’s consideration,” the minister has said.
