Mangaluru: SpiceJet is set to become the second private airline to connect Dubai directly from Mangaluru, after Jet Airways. According to sources from SpiceJet, it has received permission to fly Mangaluru - Dubai from winter season, starting from October 30 this year.
The flight from Mangaluru will take off at 12.20 am on October 30, 2016, and reach Dubai international airport, terminal 1 at 2.40 am.
The flight from Dubai will take off at 12.55 pm on October 30, 2016 and reach Mangaluru at 6.05 pm local time.
There will be daily flight service, and the initial offer is AED 273 one-way.
When contacted, airport director J T Radhakrishna confirmed the news and said that this would be the 8th international flight from Mangaluru.
