Trolls tear into man who seeks Sushma's help for wife's passport

Mangaluru: When photographer Faizan Patel planned to head for his honeymoon on August 4 to Italy on Turkish Airlines, little did he realize that this online past would come to haunt him. Faizan, a former BBM student at St Aloysius College of 2009 batch and later at MIC, Manipal, presently wedding photographer based in Delhi became the object of troll for his past tweets on minister for external affairs Sushma Swaraj and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Married in December last to Sana, the couple planned to leave to Italy for their honeymoon only to realize that her passport was missing. On August 4, he tweeted: Just two days before our trip, my wife's passport goes missing!!! and followed it up this tweet: Seems like I am travelling alone tonight via @TurkishAirlines. My wife has her passport misplaced. Fingers crossed that we find it soon on August 6.
Next was a tweet of Sana seeing him off at IGI, Delhi on August 7. A tweet by him holding the picture of Sana against a vacant seat in the aircraft on August 8 sent to Sushma (This is how I am travelling with my wife as of now) saw her reply: Ask your wife to contact me. I will ensure that she is with you on the next seat. The minister went further to add: My office has reached you already. You will get a duplicate Passport tomorrow. This is where Faizan's online past started to come back and bite him and really hard at that.
Bhakts and trolls dug up Faizan's past and took potshots at him both on Facebook and Twitter. It was his tweets and digs at Sushma and Modi that particularly that got their goat. Such was the ferocity of the online attack that Faizan acknowledged it with the following tweets: Seems like my Twitter app will crash any time soon. People are digging all my old tweets when infact I did praise Sushmaji a week ago 1/2 Praising her for her amazing work with the MEA.
The praise came in the form of following tweet: Minister par excellence @SushmaSwarajBJP I am glad we have you. You're a beacon of hope. Regards, - Sana & Faizan.
