New Delhi: A customer service agent at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) here has been apprehended for allegedly stealing Rs 5,000 and other valuables of a passenger sleeping in the terminal.
Officials said the incident was reported late night on September 15 when CISF sleuths deployed at the airport detected suspicious movements of a customer service agent of a firm over the CCTV.
They said the agent, identified as Deepak U Bopche, was trailed and it was seen he allegedly stole Rs 5,000, a few bank cards and a mobile phone from the baggage of a traveller who was sleeping inside a coffee shop in the terminal-III as he was waiting for his early morning flight to Mumbai.
