Bangalore: Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL), in collaboration with the Karnataka Kannada and Culture Department, will hold the Dasara Festival at the airport from October 1 to 9.
The exercise is to showcase the cultural extravaganza with music and dance performances of South India to a global audience.
BIAL has been working closely with the Karnataka government to promote the region and its rich culture and heritage.
The Dasara festival at the Bengaluru Airport will depict South Indian art in a way that interests dance aficionados and admirers of folk music, brought to life through various performances each day. BIAL has also made arrangements to reach out to the underprivileged community by hosting and entertaining children from NGOs during the festival.
