Panic gripped Chandigarh international airport on Monday evening after a bomb hoax call. Mohali police, a bomb squad and other security teams arrived at the airport before the call was traced.
SSP Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said, "We traced a conversation between two persons, one was from Madhya Pradesh and the other from our region. Both started fighting and used foul language. Then one of them said, 'Leave all this, a bomb has been planted at the airport'." It was not mentioned which airport and later it was confirmed that the two were just fighting, and nothing serious was found after their verification. However still, the security teams and sniffer dogs searched the airport.
