Giriraj Singh, minister of state at the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Ministry, arrived at Bagdogra Airport today en-route to Bhagalpur in Bihar.
Bagdogra Airport director Rakesh Ranjan Sahay welcomed the minister and discussed matters on upgrading the airport into an international facility. The minister enquired about passenger movement, air traffic and other problems faced while handling flight movements.
Singh is a BJP member from Barahiya in Bihar, and an MP from the Nawada constituency.
