With the latest addition of an Indigo flight to Bengaluru from Trivandrum International Airport from Saturday, the daily flight connectivity to the destination has increased to four. The inaugural flight arrived at Trivandrum International Airport at 6.50am and left to Bengaluru at 7.20 am on Saturday.
Since January, there is an increase in number of domestic flights from Trivandrum International Airport. A flight to Bengaluru, direct flight to Mumbai and two direct flights to New Delhi were introduced this year from the airport.
In the international sector, Jet Airways will start operating a flight to Dubai on October 30. The daily flight is scheduled to arrive at 5.45am and depart for Dubai at 8am. Increasing the international connectivity, it will be the fifth daily flight to Dubai to be operated from Trivandrum International Airport. Emirates, Air India Express, Indigo and Fly Dubai are already operating a daily flight each to Dubai from the airport. This is in addition to five flights already operating by Emirates, Air India Express, Indigo and Fly Dubai.
