Snag hits chopper but guv keeps cools

The helicopter carrying Governor Ram Naik developed a snag at the time of refuelling in Bareilly and had to be abandoned on Friday. Consequently, a state plane had to be specially flown to Bareilly to fetch Naik.
However, the Governor maintained his cool and did not blame the aviation staff for the snag and the subsequent delay in his departure, saying it was a flying machine and could develop a technical fault any time so no one was to be blamed though his return got delayed by two hours.
Naik had gone to inaugurate a new building of the petroleum university, 60 kms from Dehradun. This university was inaugurated by Naik when he was the Union petroleum minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government of the NDA at the Centre.
While returning from Dehradun, Naik's chopper took a halt at Bareilly for refuelling. Later, the doors of the chopper could not be closed as there was technical problem.
