As part of extending support to the central government's demonetisation campaign and facilitating air travellers, Airports Authority of India (AAI) will now allow Nationalised /any scheduled commercial bank to open and operate currency exchange counter on temporary basis at Chennai Airport.
This step is a part of the implementation of the decision taken by AAI at Central Headquarters at its airports across the country upto 31st December 2016, subject to availability of space, an official statement said.
