Sharjah International Airport welcomed on Sunday, 30 October 2016, the new daily service of Jet Airways from Sharjah to Kozhikode.
The new service will make Kozhikode the third Indian city to be connected by Jet Airways from Sharjah, adding to the daily flights that the airline already operates from the emirate to Kochi and Mangaluru. This new additional service will bolster Jet Airways offering to the Gulf market, further strengthening the airline’s growing network and significantly enhance connectivity for guests.
A function held at Sharjah International Airport to welcome the official inaugural flight from Sharjah to Kozhikode was attended by HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority and Mr. Shakir Kantawala, Vice President – Jet Airways for Gulf, Middle East & North Africa, in addition to other airport officials and Jet Airways senior management.
