In yet another crackdown on black money, security personnel at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport on Sunday seized a huge amount of cash and gold bars from a passenger.
The officials recovered 1.170 kg of gold worth Rs 32 lakh and cash Rs 2.77 lakh in demonetised currency notes.
Post the November 8 demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes, law enforcement departments continue the drive against hoarding of uncounted money.
