127 flights disrupted at Kempegowda International Airport

Thursday saw the highest flight disruptions at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) with 90 departing flights being delayed due to dense fog. This included three international flights, one each of British Airways, Indigo and Air Arabia.
Another 21 arriving flights were delayed and seven Bengaluru bound flights including a Lufthansa cargo carrier were diverted. Indigo airlines also cancelled nine flights, including four departures from KIA and five arrivals. Cascading effect continued till the day break and thousands of passengers were left stranded at the airport with cancellations of flights to Delhi, Lucknow and other northern cities.
