Lucknow: Another jackal was trapped at Lucknow airport on Tuesday. The female has been sent to Lucknow zoo.
This is the second female to have been trapped since December 24. "We do not move in that area where cages have been put up so that there is minimum disturbance for animals and they are not alert. But we keep checking the cages every hour," said Sarojininagar range officer MP Gautam.
The jackal was seen trapped inside the cage at around 2.30pm. Meanwhile, the ten cages and sensor-enabled cameras installed at Lucknow airport will continue to be in place as there might be more animals present.
