Soon, bus feeder from Marol Metro station to T2 international airport

Mumbai: In yet another initiative to ensure last-mile connectivity, the Mumbai Metro and BEST have planned to start two important bus feeder routes, one of them linking Marol Metro station to T2 international airport.
Sources in the Mumbai Metro said on Wednesday that the second route planned (and which could be inaugurated in next few days) was that of a bus service connecting Magicbricks WEH Metro station to Goregaon.
"The two new bus routes can cater to hundreds of commuters who travel by the Metro daily ," said a BEST official."Also, if there is a direct bus connect between Metro station and T2, this will enable passengers arriving at the international airport to take a bus to the nearest Metro and then travel to the western (Andheri) or central (Ghatkopar) sectors. One can also switch to local trains to travel to other parts of the city," the official said.
