Several flights arriving at and departing from the Dabolim airport were delayed on Monday, while some flights were even diverted to other airports in view of the dense fog that descended on the airport since the wee hours of Monday.
The thick fog over the Dabolim airport left passengers high and dry. Hundreds of passengers were stranded at the integrated terminal building of the airport due to the fog since the wee hours of Monday.
Several flights including domestic, international and chartered were delayed while some of them were forced to divert to Bengaluru, Mumbai and Cochin airports due to low visibility. Hundreds of passengers travelling to various destinations were inconvenienced and had to face hardships due to the delay in the arrival and departure of flights.
