Cidco reworks relief plan for airport Project Affected People's

Cidco has re-worked the relief package for Project Affected People (PAPs) and fast tracked the pre-development engineering survey for the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) project.
Cidco managing director Bhushan Gagrani pacified protesting villagers in December and accepted their demand for 200 more households to be brought under the compensation scheme. Thus, 3,200 families will be shifted from 10 villages for the project.
While the nearly 1,500 tenants will have to move out by January or latest by February-end, the owners have been asked to shift by May.
