Indigo passenger 'tied down' after turning unruly

On Tuesday little after the flight 6E 024 took off from Dubai airport, a passenger turned unruly. Sources say he was not only refusing to follow the in flight security rules but behaving violent. He even allegedly threatened the crew. At this point the cabin crew contacted the chief pilot of 6E 024 who is the commander in chief who instructed the passenger to be overpowered. In an unprecedented situation he was tied down to his seat.
Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi international airport in New Delhi, CISF detained the man who was later handed over to Delhi Police that is investigating the matter. Delhi Police sources suggest an alcohol test has also been taken of the passenger to ascertain whether he has been under influence of alcohol or not. The report is awaited.
