Mumbai: Jet Airways has appointed M Shivkumar, the carrier’s former senior vice president in charge of finance, as its finance controller, said two people with knowledge of the development.
In his second stint at India's second largest airline by market share, Shivkumar will be responsible for budgetary control, management information system and financial reporting among other functions.
His first assignment at Jet as senior VP-finance was from February 2009 to June 2012, after which he was group chief financial officer at textile retailer Raymond until December 2015. Prior to his latest appointment at Jet, he been serving as an adviser at the Sanmar Group that has presence in chemicals, shipping, engineering and metals.
