A curfew-like situation prevailed at Bhogapuram and neighbouring areas as cops made house arrests before the public hearing for the proposed greenfield airport.
Most of those arrested at the public hearing venue were YSRCP and Left party leaders including B Prabhakara Reddy, U Suryanarayana, CPI district secretary P Kameswara Rao and Bugata Ashok.
