India's Jet Airways to add dry-leased B737 capacity in 4Q17

Jet Airways(9W, Mumbai Int'l) is planning to dry-lease eleven additional B737s around the end of the year India's Business Standard has reported.

Quoting well-placed airline sources, the paper says the aircraft will be used to shore up Jet Airways' domestic operations which are operated by the carrier itself as well as its JetLite (S2, Delhi Int'l) subsidiary. The capacity will be gradually phased in, they said.

At present, Jet Airways' operates two B737-700s, sixty B737-800s, two B737-900s, and four B737-900(ER)s while JetLite operates three B737-700s and five B737-800s.
