Surat: The Surat airport will start buzzing with around eight direct flights to important destinations, with the addition of three directly flights by Spice Jet starting from June 1.
The Spice Jet will start the inaugural flights from Surat to Goa, Hyderabad and Jaipur from June 1 and the plan to launch the flight services to Patan and Kolkata likely in the next month.
Sources said that the inaugural flight from Surat to Goa will depart at 15:55 pm to reach Goa at 17:40 pm, followed by Surat-Jaipur flight at 20:10 to reach Jaipur at 21:55, Surat-Hyderabad flight at 9:10 am to reach Hyderabad at 11:20 am.
At present, the Spice Jet is operating two daily flights to Delhi from Surat in the morning and evening hours. On other hand, Air India is operating two Airbus in the morning and evening from Surat to Delhi and three days a week flight between Surat and Mumbai.
