Jaipur: Soon, the intra-air services will be extended on six new routes including direct connectivity to New Delhi and Ahmedabad. The state government gave consent to this proposal on principle and forwarded the same to the Union Civil Aviation Ministry for necessary formalities.

As per the letter shot to the civil aviation by chief secretary Ashok Jain, it has been decided to expand the intra-air services on six more routes which are Jaipur-Kota, Delhi-Sawai Madhopur,

Delhi-Kisahangarh, Delhi-Shri Ganganagar, Jodhpur-Ahmedabad and Jaipur- Jodhpur- Jaisalmer.

So far the service are available on three routes from Jaipur to Jodhpur, Bikaner and Udaipur. The air service was launched by chief minister Vasundhara Raje in October last year and Supreme Airlines was commissioned for operation of flights on a regular basis on these routes.

In the previous Budget the CM had announced to expand intra-air services to other cities and the letter written by the CS comes in its continuance.

In the letter, the CS has recommended for the same air operator to run the operations on new routes.
