Shirdi Airport gets DGCA licence, flights soon

New Delhi: You will soon be able to fly to Shirdi for the darshan of Shri Sai Baba. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Thursday issued the licence to Shirdi Airport which has a runway long enough for Airbus A-320 and Boeing 737 aircraft. A senior DGCA official said, the regulator "has issued the Aerodrome Licence to Shirdi Airport for public use for day operations after ensuring compliance of all relevant standards."
