Mumbai: A sessions court has cancelled the anticipatory bail granted to Albert Cambata, promoter of Cambata Aviation, after the Mumbai Police claimed he has violated the conditions of bail by going out of the country without permission. The Dindoshi sessions court last week cancelled the anticipatory bail granted to Cambata in 2015. Cambata was booked by the Sahar police on allegations that Cambata Aviation Private Limited had committed breach of trust by retaining the amount towards Provident Funds of its employees. The Sahar police moved court with a miscellaneous application for cancellation of anticipatory bail stating that Cambata travelled abroad on November 21, 2015. The prosecution said a Red Corner Notice has been issued against Cambata and he has been intercepted at Monaco City, France. The court order states that while notice was issued to the accused, despite sufficient notice, “the accused has failed to appear”. The court said on perusal of the order issued by the Intelligence Bureau as well, it is clear that Cambata violated the anticipatory bail order of 2015, ordering its cancellation.
