Chennai: In what could be seen as a security breach,a mentally-deranged person created ruckus at the airport here today. Airport sources said, the youngster entered through the third gate of the arrival terminal at around 0800 hrs and ran helter skelter. Passengers and employees at the airport were panic-stricken due to the sudden commotion. He also evaded the police and the CISF personnel, who tried to stop him, and started hitting the glass panels and threw things that he laid his hands on. After a brief struggle, the CISF caught him and handed over to the local police. He was found to be mentally unstable. He was sent to hospital for medical examination.
