Belagavi: The Airport Authority of India (AAI) commissioned a new terminal and apron at Belagavi airport on Monday.
Civil aviation minister P Ashok Gajapathi Raju had inaugurated the expanded Belagavi airport on September 14.
Operations of all flights started from the new terminal and parking of all scheduled flights at the new apron. The new terminal building is fully equipped with security infrastructure, security gadgets and other facilities.
Aptech Aviation Hospitality Academy, Podar International School and Jain Heritage School organized music and dance programmes on the terminal premises to mark the occasion.
