Sanjay Manjrekar slams Air India for taking potshots at IndiGo – Here’s what he tweeted!

New Delhi: It was almost a week back Air India airlines had taken a dig at the misery on IndiGo airlines when a video of latter's ground staff manhandling a passenger went viral on the internet. And on Wednesday, former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar took to Twitter to slam Air India for taking potshots at IndiGo.
It was almost a month ago when low-cost airline IndiGo was engulfed in ample criticisms. A video revealed one of its ground staff manhandling a passenger. The airlines had apologised to the ministry for the incident, but however, didn't expel the staff seen in the video saying that he was doing his duty of ensuring safety.
On November 8, the video had gone viral on all social media sites and competitor Air India took a subtle dig at IndiGo with two tweets along with their mascot, the Maharaja. One said, "We raise our hands only to say Namaste" and "Unbeatable service". Surprisingly, they soon deleted it.
And now, on Wednesday morning Majrekar took to Twitter to say,"Indigo is a world-class airline. That was an unfortunate incident. Airlines taking potshots at them better off focussing on raising their own standards & becoming world class. Especially you, AirIndia."
