Thai Smile says hello Mumbai

Thai Smile, the regional airline and subsidiary of Thai Airways, expanded its Indian connectivity by introducing direct flights from Bangkok to Mumbai.
Thai Smile which has been operating in India since the last quarter of 2016 already has direct flights from Bangkok to Jaipur, Lucknow, Gaya and Varanasi. The recent addition of Bangkok-Mumbai has been in sync with Mumbai airport’s crowd pulling capacity. Mumbai is an important and old Indian seaport, which also serves as a popular tourist attraction apart from being the film capital of India.
The new route will promote and aid travellers who are travelling for different purposes, be it leisure, corporate or MICE travellers while promoting Bangkok as a multifaceted destination. GVK Mumbai International Airport Private Limited (MIAL), the company that operates the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA), saw the arrival of the maiden flight of Thai Smile in October. The airline will operate 5 flights in a week on the Mumbai-Bangkok route- Bangkok – Mumbai (BKK-BOM) on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 22.15-01.35 (+1), WE335 Bangkok – Mumbai (BKK-BOM) on Friday and Sunday at 23.55-03.10 and WE336 Mumbai – Bangkok (BOM-BKK) on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 02.40-08.55 and WE336 Mumbai – Bangkok (BOM-BKK) on Monday and Saturday at 04.40-10.55.
