Pune: A total of 500 new passenger baggage trolleys will provide relief to passengers who have been complaining about inadequate infrastructural facilities at the airport.
Also, another 100 chairs will be placed in the sitting area by the end of this month, besides 250 new chairs that have been installed at the airport, authorities said.
"The issue regarding trolleys and chairs at Pune airport will be resolved shortly. The requisition regarding the same has been sent already and 500 new baggage trolleys will arrive at the airport by December. Also, while around 200 new chairs have been installed, there will be 100 more by December," an airport official said.
Passengers at the airport have been complaining about the low number of trolleys and chairs at the airport. Shadaab Hasan, another passenger, said that less number of chairs was a major issue too.
