New Delhi: An Afghan couple were today apprehended at the Delhi airport for allegedly using a fake travel ticket to see their daughter off, official sources said.
Sayed Omar and his wife, N Sayedy, were apprehended around 6:30 am when CISF personnel found them roaming suspiciously inside the Terminal-3 (T3) building of the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, they said.
The couple told the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel that they used a cancelled ticket to enter the terminal to see their daughter off, who was travelling to Kabul, the sources added.
